My client is a progressive, design-focused boutique architecture studio located in Western Sydney. With a growing portfolio across high-end residential and boutique multi-residential developments, they are known for creating refined, contextually responsive architecture with a strong emphasis on early-stage design thinking and client collaboration.
An opportunity has become available for a talented Graduate Design Architect with over 3 years of post-graduate experience to join their expanding team. The ideal candidate will have strong conceptual skills, experience preparing high-quality DA packages, and be proficient in Revit. The studio seeks someone with a background in both luxury single dwellings and multi-residential typologies who is confident in taking the lead during the early design phases.
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about design and enjoys seeing projects through from concept to planning, while working in a tight-knit, supportive team.
In the role as Graduate Design Architect, here are your responsibilities:
- Contribute to the concept design of high-end residential and multi-residential projects
- Prepare and coordinate DA documentation to a high standard in Revit
- Collaborate with directors, clients, councils, and consultants in early project phases
- Translate design vision into clear, well-resolved architectural outcomes
- Ensure all design output aligns with planning regulations, site requirements, and client objectives alongside a Director
In the role as Graduate Design Architect, we require you to have the following skills:
- A Bachelor or Master of Architecture (or equivalent)
- Minimum 3 years post-graduate experience in an Australian architectural practice (local experience required and must be Sydney-based)
- Strong Revit proficiency with experience using it in concept and DA phases
- A folio that demonstrates strong design capability in both single homes and multi-residential projects
- Solid knowledge of NSW planning systems and council submission processes
- Excellent verbal and visual communication skills
- Confident working autonomously as well as collaboratively in a small team environment
